When Downy launched its line of Unstopables In-Wash Scent Boosters, it was in need of an innovative package to match the innovative product. So, instead of the typical bright colored rigid plastic bottles that are so common in the laundry aisle, Downy opted for a sleek black shrink sleeve over clear plastic, creating a sense of intrigue and allowing the consumer to see the product inside through the window in the center. Additionally, Downy provided three small openings in the cap that give the consumer the ability to test out the various scents in the store without opening the product.
