A Southern Success Story

In the past year, Valdese Packaging & Label in Valdese, N.C., added a new six-color, 40˝ Mitsubishi Diamond 3000LX press with aqueous coater, which has allowed it to print on a wide array of substrates, from onion skin to 40-point board. According to CEO Darren Little, the company is now looking to add another 40˝ press.

World Reflection –Polischuk

Before you get the wrong idea, drupa 2012, was a very successful show. There were a lot of business transactions at the show, with a visitor survey indicating close to 50 percent placing specific orders, and a raft of company press announcements about sales on the show floor. (Staged events, for sure, but business none the less.)
