ProLabel, a manufacturer of digital labels, has purchased and installed a Xeikon 3030 press to meet its customers' growing demand for high quality digital labels.

Since the last drupa held in 2008 the suppliers of digital solutions have become even more important and reflect the mega-trend of digitization. In six halls, drupa 2012, held at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany, will show everything concerning digital printing, workflow, or Web-to-print applications, just to name some important examples.

At drupa 2012, Xeikon will demonstrate the company's latest range of customer-driven innovations which deliver best-in-class image quality, offer new levels of flexibility and deliver significant improvements in shop floor productivity. Visitors will also have the opportunity to experience live demonstrations of the company's new 8000 series of digital presses.

Xeikon has selected Kodak Prinergy Workflow as the packaging workflow component of ThermoFlexX, its new flexographic and letterpress platemaking solution.

Xeikon, an innovator in digital color printing technology, announced its new Folding Carton Suite, which will be demonstrated during drupa 2012.

Labelexpo Asia 2011, which was held between 29 November and 2 December in Shanghai, has proved to be the most successful year in the show’s history.

Label Solutions, Essex, has become the latest label specialist to invest in Xeikon colour digital printing technology with the purchase of a Xeikon 3030 digital label press.
