Four of TLMI's member company facilities have achieved L.I.F.E. (Label Initiative for the Environment) Certifications. The program’s newly certified plants include Sussex, WI-based Lauterbach Group; Avery Dennison’s Peachtree City, GA division; and Green Bay Packaging’s Winchester, VA and Green Bay, WI facilities. The L.I.F.E. program was developed in order to assist TLMI members to find cost-effective ways to reduce their companies’ environmental footprint.

Minneapolis-based Ritrama and Avery Dennison’s Fort Wayne, IN division have recently been awarded L.I.F.E. (Label Initiative for the Environment) certification from TLMI. “With 36 TLMI member companies now L.I.F.E. certified and more in the application process, we will surpass 40 L.I.F.E. certified companies in 2013 and that is an outstanding achievement,” said Frank Sablone, TLMI president.
During the course of TLMI's four-day annual meeting in Naples, Fla. last month, TLMI Chairman Art Yerecic, president of Yerecic Label, presented attendees with some upbeat stats, along with several awards for Converter of the Year, Supplier of the Year, and several Environmental Leadership awards.
Over the course of the past nine months, 35 new member companies have joined TLMI, creating one of the largest single-year growth expansion in the association’s history. The new members include 15 converting companies and 20 suppliers, one of which is an international supplier member.
Hagerstown, MD-based Hub Labels, has been awarded L.I.F.E. (Label Initiative for the Environment) certification from TLMI. The Project L.I.F.E. program was developed in order to assist TLMI members to find cost effective ways to reduce their companies’ environmental footprint.
The Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute (TLMI) recently announced the winners of the prestigious Eugene Singer Award for Management Excellence.
