At this special Design Summit, industry experts will lead discussions on how to effectively manage a creative team and how open innovation can grow a folding carton business.

The Safety Boxscore awards, presented at Paperboard Packaging Council's (PPC) Spring Outlook and Strategies Conference, held April 3-5, are given to PPC member companies based on the cumulative number of hours worked the previous year without an OSHA-recordable injury. “Safety is of utmost importance in the packaging industry and it is a testament to our members that such a large group can claim this achievement year after year,” expressed Brian Chaisson, director of industry benchmarking at PPC.

The winners of the Paperboard Packaging Alliance's Eighth Annual Student Design Challenge received a cash prize to share among the team and one of equal value for the school. Winners were chosen by a team of four paperboard packaging industry professionals who rate submissions based on their response to the competition scenario, innovative structural and graphic design, functionality, and quality of the finished product.
