With the addition of a new Martin MBSF butt splicer on a new 13˝ Nilpeter SG3300 press, El Paso, Texas-based General Labels increased its production throughput by nearly 40 percent. Martin Automatic reported a strong presence at its booth during the Printed Electronics USA conference last month in Santa Clara, CA. The company was also featured at the show's popular “Demonstration Street,” where vistors had the chance to see a web—spliced on a Martin non-stop automatic roll changer—in energy storage/battery production processes.
Martin Automatic exhibited at this year's Labelexpo India, highlighting its MBSC automatic butt splicer with its compact footprint, patented linear shear splice unit and rugged, easy-to-understand design. Martin also participated at the Technology Bar, sponsored by Weldon Celloplast, where customers had the opportunity to discuss their needs with a number of world-class suppliers.
