manroland has been awarded the 2011 Harold W. Gegenheimer Corporate Award for Industry Service from NPES, the Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies. The award was presented to manroland’s North American CEO Vince Lapinski, in recognition of manroland’s industry leadership through participation in NPES and industry activities.
CHICAGO—Sept. 22, 2011—manroland Inc. is announcing that Accord Carton will become the second package printer in the world to install a next-generation seven-color Roland 907-6 press with coater. The installation is scheduled for completion in late February 2012. Robert Codo, president of Accord carton said regarding Accord’s success with their first 56" manroland press, “In the last five years, we've gone from $7 million to nearly $40 million in sales.
