manroland web systems, the U.S. sales and service organization for manroland web systems GmbH, has been founded. The new company, a separate legal entity from the manroland sheetfed organization, will operate out of the existing manroland facility in Westmont, IL.
To manage the challenges of the industry powerfully and sustainably in an economically difficult environment, manroland web systems GmbH introduces the new team at the top. Uwe Lüders, born in 1952, is chairman of the board of Possehl group since April 2004. Prior to this he gathered experience as manager of successful diversified groups of companies focusing on manufacturing engineering and plant engineering.
“He (Alfred Rothlaender) is a vastly experienced managing director who I know can be relied on during the transition between the former institutional management style of manroland AG and the leaner, more flexible way that our companies do things,” Langley said.
