More than 2,000 digital print professionals recently gathered at Dscoop7, marking a 30 percent increase in core North American attendees from last year’s event. Attendees from 38 countries rounded out the total. “Dscoop7 was a success in every sense of the word,” said Craig Curran, Dscoop7 chairman and vice president of sales at Nosco.
The addition of a LUX® Platemaking Process at OEC Graphics in Oshkosh, WI, marks MacDermid's 100th installation of the system. The LUX Platemaking Process enables the production of flat-top dots on flexo printing plates, creating a smaller printed dot and increased print quality and consistency.

The North American FTA put ‘Color in Focus’ before an audience of nearly 300 flexographers during its recent annual Fall Conference. The assembly consisted largely of printers; but suppliers, pre-press technicians, consumer product companies, teachers and students were also represented as well.
