The facility serves the needs of students through technical training, applied research and product testing. Kodak donated the Kodak NEXPRESS 2100 Plus Digital Production Color Press with the Kodak Fifth Imaging Unit Solution, Kodak NEXGLOSSER Glossing Unit, Kodak PRINERGY Workflow Software and Kodak Web-to-print Solutions. Waukesha County Technical College, located in Waukesha, Wisconsin, has more than 100 areas of study including printing and graphics. With eight “Centers of Excellence,” WCTC has a Printing Industry Cluster and focuses on workforce development.

ROCHESTER, N.Y.—In an agreement announced May 7 at the FFTA’s Annual Forum and INFO*FLEX Exhibition in Montreal, Canada, Kodak will offer MacDermid Printing Solutions’ Digital MUST, Digital RAVE, and Digital EPIC printing plates to customers worldwide. This agreement is part of Kodak’s initiative to expand its package printing solutions portfolio to include digital flexographic plates, giving customers access to a full line of integrated prepress solutions from a single provider that includes workflow, proofing, digital plate imaging, and printing plates. “To grow revenue and increase profit, package printers are looking for consistent, stable, repeatable print that delivers high impact results on the store shelf,”
