Smyth Companies of Minneapolis will receive the first set of UR Precision automatic transfer machines from Kocher + Beck, GmbH. The first installation outside of Europe, the new technology will fit well with Smyth's new Gallus RCS installation.

Gallus, Inc. has welcomed Frank Hasselberg as the company’s new western U.S. sales manager, starting January 1, 2012. Previously, Hasselberg was executive vice president for Kocher + Beck USA, a manufacturer of solid and flexible dies based in Lenexa, Kan.

Kocher+Beck has announced the appointment of David Morris as its new senior executive vice president, effective February 1, 2012.
