Harper Corp. of America

Harper Corporation of America recently donated six new XLT anilox rolls to Fundeplast, a nonprofit flexographic training foundation headquartered in San Salvador, El Salvador. The rolls will enable the foundation to upgrade its current press and provide improved training and development opportunities for students.

Competition was stiff among top high school performers from across North America in the Phoenix Challenge High School Flexo Competition. A total of 19 teams participated, a total which has grown every year since the Phoenix Challenge high school program began in 1998.

This year’s Midwest Converters Golf Outing included a three-par betting hole where $500 was raised to support the Phoenix Challenge Foundation. This organization provides educational programs geared toward student placement in the flexographic printing industry.
