The acquisition of a webfed Berhalter diecutter now provides Hammer with new capabilities to support IML-I requirements beyond the current counter pressure-cutting systems. It can diecut complex shapes directly from the VSOP or flexo web presses and is a perfect complement to the multiple formats of roll-fed printing.

Twin Rivers Paper has honored Hammer Packaging with a special commemorative 100 year recognition award. The award was presented by Jim Gehrman, president, Twin Rivers Paper, to James E. Hammer, president and CEO of Hammer Packaging.
Hammer Packaging is investing in two new presses, and has also purchased a third variable speed offset printing press (VSOP), due in mid-November. The purchase of this additional press reportedly makes Hammer the single largest user of VSOP sleeve technology in the world.
