The new Goss Packaging Technology Center—featuring a Vpak web offset press system—opened this week in Durham, NH, as a resource for press demonstrations, testing and cooperative programs for converters, brand owners and equipment suppliers.
Even after 20 years, Goss Sunday presses continue to deliver sharp web offset productivity, print quality and efficiency, with printers in 27 countries relying on them for publications, catalogs direct marketing, retail inserts, packaging and other specialized products.
Goss International's President and CEO Rick Nichols announced a restructuring of the company—where it will reorganize around its regional service and support centers, unify European operations and expand into neighboring product markets. “This transformation of the company and refocus on growth is critical for the future of our business,” said Nichols.
Precision, an innovative U.S. packaging and label producer for the food, beverage and consumer markets, will be the first in the world to install the new Sunday Vpak 500 web offset printing system. “We have made a deliberate decision to do something different,” said Lee Timmerman, president of Precision Press.
