The Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) is all set to celebrate its 55th anniversary at its big bash—the annual FTA Forum and INFO*FLEX exhibition. With a theme of "Right Here. Right Now.", this year's technical conference and exhibition will take place at the San Diego Convention Center in beautiful San Diego, California from April 28 to May 1.

In response to overwhelming demand, Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) has added 15 additional booths to the previously sold-out INFO*FLEX show floor. INFO*FLEX, the industry’s most comprehensive networking event for the packaging, printing and converting industries, will take place April 29-30, 2013 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego.

Open to full-time students majoring in a program focusing on flexography and looking to further themselves in the flexographic industry, this is one of the industry’s most generous and prestigious scholarships that students can achieve.

Esko's entire US Flexo Implementation Quality (FIQ) staff has completed the FIRST Implementation Specialist Certification—Level III. This is the highest level of certification offered by Flexographic Technical Association (FTA).

PolyCello, based in Amherst, Nova Scotia, has made its first investment in Windmoeller & Hoelscher technology, with the purchase of a 10-color VISTAFLEX flexographic press that it will use to print packaging for the frozen food, towel and tissue overwrap and pet food markets.

Alfred K. Bowers, customer solutions manager in the Premedia Technologies Division of RR Donnelly, Menasha, WI, has been inducted into the Flexographic Technical Association’s Hall of Fame. Bowers is the 50th individual to be welcomed into the prestigious society.
