At GRAPH EXPO 2012, EFI introduced two new tools within its Online Print Solutions (OPS) product portfolio—the MPrint transactional application for smartphones; and CallTarget, a module for turning printed items of all types into trackable marketing pieces via unique phone numbers.
EFI announced the creation of a $25,000 endowed scholarship through the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) that will be granted annually to a student in the graphic communications industry. “EFI and PGSF staunchly believe that students who have chosen a career in our industry should have the full support of the industry, and one way to provide that support is by making education more affordable,” said Jeff White, general manager of EFI Monarch and PGSF board member.

At Labelexpo Americas 2012, a steady parade of show attendees were treated to a wide array of new products and technology demonstrations.
