Later this year, Superior Litho's pressroom will increase its output with a new seven-color, 64″ Koenig & Bauer Rapida 164 offset press. The new press will expand Superior Litho's capabilities and capacity in the folding carton segment.

The latest additions will allow Rondo-Pak to meet the heightened market demand for specialized packaging, which has been accelerated by a need for COVID-19 related products including vaccines, adjuvants, test kits, pain relievers and treatment medications.

Koenig & Bauer presented its packaging workflow and intelligent digitization solutions, among other highlights. Together with joint venture partner Durst, the VariJET106 press for digital folding carton printing was also seen in action for the first time.
