With its strong, steady growth, K-1 Packaging is addressing its valued customers’ needs with additional new press technology in the form of a second Koenig & Bauer eight-color Rapida 105 press, which will sit side-by-side with an existing eight-color, 41˝ Rapida 105 press.

The full-service printer, which specializes in commercial catalogs, annuals, workbooks and folding cartons, will install a six-color, 41˝ Koenig & Bauer Rapida 105 UV press to increase efficiency and productivity and grow its folding carton business.

Accurate Box, a Paterson, N.J.-based printer of high-graphic corrugated boxes, is adding a new seven-color, 64˝ Koenig & Bauer Rapida 164 press, increasing the company's capacity and speeds. The press will operate alongside two seven-color, 64˝ Koenig & Bauer Rapida 162 sheetfed presses.
