As a supplier of high-end labels and flexible packaging to a variety of market segments, Craftsman Label has added to its embellishment capabilities by installing a HOTFB330 standalone hot foil unit from GM.

Flexographic Tech took home the Gold award for the College Student Category of Flexographic Technical Association’s 2019 Excellence in Flexography Awards. Students of Flexo Tech's 12-week press operator course created the winning card on a 23-year-old, gear-driven Mark Andy 2200.

Method's Creative Growth Art Collection line of soap uses colorful shrink sleeves and an ElastiTag to create a piece of decor in the home that will be useful for weeks at a time.

Rohrer Corp., a supplier of high-visibility retail packaging, has installed an Eagle Cold Foil system from Eagle Systems at its facility in Buford, Ga. The cold foil system is operating in-line with a Komori LSX40 offset printing press.

Esko and Scodix have announced a collaboration to include Scodix packaging enhancement applications within the Esko Studio suite. The applications include Scodix Foil, Scodix Embossed Foil, Scodix Sense for UV embossing and Scodix Spot for varnish applications.

Eagle Systems announced that it installed its cold foil system at the production facility of Utah PaperBox in Salt Lake City, Utah. Eagle’s President and CEO Mike King declared that UPB now has the “largest cold foiler in the Americas”.
