Xeikon has announced its development of a digital printing solution for pouches. The solution has been developed for use in consumer goods markets and provides a response to industry trends such as increased SKUs, shorter lead times, and the popularity of flexible packaging.

At Dscoop Edge, currently underway in Orlando, Fla., Esko has unveiled a tailored version of Esko Automation Engine, designed for HP Indigo users. The label and packaging automation software drives more jobs to HP Indigo equipment at faster speeds and provides additional features specifically designed for digital printing.

S-One Labels & Packaging has been named an HP Indigo Media Solutions Partner, focusing on the Indigo ecosystem surrounding the fast-growing digitally printed label and flexible packaging market.

Precision Label Corporation is expanding its digital production capabilities with the addition of breakthrough HP Indigo silver ink and an HP Indigo 6900 Digital Press.

RR Donnelley has added two new HP Indigo 6900 Digital Presses, with one press going to its Visalia, Calif., location and the other going to its Wilson, N.C., location. The presses will be used to transition RRD's traditional short-run flexo work to better utilize capacity while maximizing up-time on medium to long-run assets.
