Kodak hosted a VIP Inkjet Summit from June 13-14 at its Enterprise Inkjet Systems Division in Dayton, Ohio, to help celebrate the division's 50th anniversary and to detail the company's latest inkjet technology.

The third annual Digital Packaging Summit will return to Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., from Oct. 23-25, bringing converters and suppliers together to discuss how digital printing can impact their businesses. The InterTech Technology Awards, presented annually by the Printing Industries of America, honor the latest printing technologies that are poised to have a lasting impact on the industry moving forward. This year's winners provided a look at the key technologies impacting packaging's future.

The Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC) has announced the formation of a digital converting community of interest. Helios Digital Packaging, a Houston-based custom packaging and display print provider, has acquired a Durst Rho P10 250 HS as the focal point of its printing operations.

The first shipment of Landa S10 Nanographic Printing Presses will reach beta customers beginning in July 2017. The three beta sites are printing and converting companies based in Israel, the United States and Germany.
