Heidelberg's Packaging Day event highlighted the company's latest solutions for package printing, including offset and digital printing technology. More than 300 visitors from around the world attended the event.

September 2017 marked a full year since Mark Andy first released its Digital One press at Labelexpo Americas 2016. Since the company launched the hybrid, entry-level product, it has been installed successfully at several locations worldwide.

Mark Andy Digital One, a CMYK dry-toner device with in-line decorating and converting, has received a BS 5609 certification on Avery Dennison substrate. This certification guarantees a label's durability in harsh marine and weather conditions.

Nadco Tapes and Labels has added digital capabilities to its business through the acquisition of a Mark Andy Digital One dry-toner label press. The Digital One features in-line converting and finishing, flexo decoration, and high-quality digital print.

Mark Andy will be highlighting its latest portfolio of innovations at Labelexpo Europe, including its updated Performance Series P7 flexo press, Digital Plus Screen retrofit unit, Digital Series flexo/inkjet hybrid press and Digital One, an affordable, standalone digital label press.

Mark Andy hosted more than 300 converters at its recent European open house, held at its Warsaw, Poland facility. The event featured demonstrations of Mark Andy's latest flexo, digital and finishing technology.

Blair Labeling, a pressure-sensitive label converter based in Denver, has installed a Mark Andy Digital One label press. Since the installation, the company has seen success with the digital/flexo hybrid solution.

HP has announced several global installations of its HP Indigo 20000 digital press for the flexible packaging market, along with the commercial availability of many of the flexible packaging innovations it announced during drupa.

Mark Andy will showcase its latest Performance Series press at Labelexpo Americas. The press is designed for the narrow-web flexible packaging segment.
