Dan Muenzer, Labels Division vice president for communications and marketing at Constantia Flexibles has been appointed chairman of TLMI. A 25-year veteran of the label industry, Muenzer has served on TLMI’s board of directors since 2010.

The need for a label of some kind, intrinsic to the product packaging or applied to it, will not go away. However, there are certainly tectonic shifts in packaging buyers' preferences. Such change, however, is the sign of a dynamic, healthy industry that is not only accepting, but welcoming evolution.
Digital “in-the-round” (ITR) imaging is steadily opening up attractive opportunities for printers, converters, and end users. Advances in flexo sleeve technology are yielding opportunities in markets traditionally dominated by other processes.
