Yupo Corporation Celebrates 10 Years in the Americas
ATLANTA, Ga.—Yupo Corporation America commemorated 10 years of success in North and South America with a special “Creating Perfect Harmonies” event at the Glenn Hotel in Atlanta, Ga. Following the second day of the HOW Design Conference, where Yupo served as an exhibitor and sponsor, the event drew in a crowd of more than 100 guests from the graphic design, printing, and paper industries.
“We are happy to have had the opportunity to celebrate this significant milestone with our fellow industry partners, customers and colleagues,” says Martin J. Fiorillo, vice president of marketing and distribution sales, Yupo Corporation America.
In 1997, Yupo Corporation broke ground for a manufacturing facility in Chesapeake, Va. to address the market demand for a more versatile paper alternative in the Americas. Since then, Yupo Corporation America has grown to become an industry leader, offering a full line of innovative YUPO synthetic papers for a wide variety of creative and technical applications, ranging from corporate brochures, maps and menus to magazines, labels, and board games.
To address robust demand in the region for YUPO synthetic paper products, Yupo Corporation America has implemented a continual strategy for growth, which recently included significant capital investments to improve the efficiency of its production line. These improvements have resulted in a 20 percent increase in production output this year, which allows the company to continue to ensure reliable supply and provide the best service and flexibility to its customers.
“Yupo has worked hard over the past ten years to provide customers in North and South America with the best level of service, expertise and innovation to meet evolving marketplace needs,” said Masahiko Yano, president of Yupo Corporation America. “Our achievements over the past decade are a testament to Yupo’s commitment to excellence, and we look forward to another ten years of growth and success in the Americas.”
