Xanté Completes Acquisitions of RIPit and Exxtra Imaging
MOBILE, Alabama—Xanté announced today it has completed acquisitions of RIPit Imaging Systems, Inc. (Sacramento, Calif.) and Exxtra Imaging Systems, Inc. (Hauppauge, New York).
The acquisitions expand the range of Xanté product offerings for professional printers in over 100 countries, making it one of the most comprehensive solution portfolios available to the graphic arts marketplace. The company also now boasts a significantly larger field sales and service network.
The wider Xanté product line encompasses proven chemical and process-free CTP, including violet metal and polyester solutions; the award-winning OpenRIP Symphony workflow, and digital print output.
Management of the company includes executives from Xanté, RIPit and Exxtra. Robert C. Ross, Jr. continues as President and CEO. Wayne G. Wasulko of RIPit has joined Xanté as VP of RIP Development. Michael R. Sterflinger of Exxtra has joined Xanté as VP of Technology. RIPit and Exxtra, now wholly owned Xanté subsidiaries, will maintain operations at their existing locations.
