Xaar, a provider of industrial inkjet technology, has appointed Chris Morgan to the position of non-executive director. Morgan will join Xaar's board of directors on January 4, 2016.
Morgan has a wealth of expertise in managing complex international technology businesses, having spent 25 years at HP. His HP career encompassed more than 15 years of diverse senior executive roles including worldwide sales and marketing leadership for HP’s entire printing business and senior vice president of graphic solutions, where he had end-to-end global general management responsibility for HP’s multibillion dollar portfolio of digital printing and packaging press, signage and display, large format design, 3D, and specialty printing solutions and services.
Morgan has a strong background in global marketing and general management roles, with 11 years living and working in Asia for HP. He has led strategic investments in key growth markets such as China and India, and has established channel networks, and customer service and supply chain capabilities in growth markets. Morgan has also been involved in a number of mergers and acquisitions at both the strategic and operational levels and was a board member for an HP-Softbank PC-related joint venture in Japan. Morgan recently served as chief marketing officer for Stratasys until June of 2015, where he was responsible for marketing 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions globally.
