Governor Walker Visits cei’s Facilities
WRIGHTSTOWN, Wis.—cei (Coating Excellence International), a market-leading flexible packaging and technical products company, hosted a visit from Governor Scott Walker. The reason for Governor Walker’s visit was to discuss his plan to create 250,000 private sector jobs in the state by 2015.
“cei is a strong supporter of his programs to make Wisconsin more business friendly, and create jobs in Wisconsin,” stated Mike Nowak, cei’s founder and president. “As a Wisconsin-based business, our goal is for continued growth and expansion, creating additional jobs for Wisconsin families.”
cei built on a greenfield site and opened its doors for business in 1997. Initially cei had 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Today, just 14 years later, cei has expanded several times, and has opened two additional facilities and now has nearly one million square feet of state-of-the-art manufacturing space and more than 500 employees.
