Wilson Manufacturing Celebrates 35 Years of Innovation
ST. LOUIS—June 28, 2014—Wilson Manufacturing, a supplier to the flexographic industry and pioneer in machine-sharpened dies, is marking its 35th year in business.
From humble beginnings as a small, custom manufacturer, the company has evolved into a full-service supplier of precision rotary dies, printing cylinders, magnetic tooling and specialty products serving customers in 27 countries worldwide.
Perhaps Wilson's most widely-recognized contribution was the creation of machine-sharpened rotary dies in 1999. This technological breakthrough has given converters a high-performance alternative for both pressure-sensitive and metal-to-metal applications including booklet dies, vacuum insert dies, air-eject dies, spring plunger dies and male/female box dies.
Today, the Wilson team combines an innovative spirit with a truly collaborative approach to solving customer challenges, keeping them on top of today's converting technologies with technical expertise, consultative advice and fast, personal service.
"For Wilson employees, 'Ingenuity on the Cutting Edge' is a way of life," says Todd Westover, sales and marketing director at Wilson Manufacturing. "We are grateful to our customers and industry colleagues who have helped us reach this important milestone. And while it's great to celebrate our achievements, we're more excited to look forward to what's next."
