Walter G. Anderson, Inc., an independent supplier of folding cartons, will install its fourth 57˝, seven-color KBA Rapida 145 press with coater at its headquarters in Hamel, Minnesota. The press will be installed early in 2016.

The new press will be equipped with a variety of additional KBA technolgies. These features include a fully-automatic plate changer, CleanTronic Synchro, providing simultaneous cleaning of inking rollers, blankets and impression cylinders, and includes a dedicated package for inking unit drives; and ErgoTronic ColorControl for the highest quality printing.
“Ever since we first saw the new Rapida 145 large format press in action before it was officially announced, we’ve been thoroughly impressed with its performance and production,” says Anderson. “It was the breakthrough press we were seeking. Our current three Rapida 145 presses run round-the-clock and have become workhorses producing our folding carton work.
