Vista Color to Implement Radius Solutions Software

CHICAGO, Ill.—Radius Solutions Ltd. announced that Vista Color, a folding carton and commercial print provider, will implement PECAS Vision ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software to support its business objectives.

Vista Color was using a software system developed for the commercial print environment, which lacked specific functionality to service the central and growing packaging area of its business. The organization made the decision to find a new end-to-end software system with out-of-the box functionality to support its folding carton operations, while addressing the needs of its commercial print capabilities.

According to the company, Vista Color has been undergoing significant improvements in equipment and facilities as well as ensuring the right people are in the right places. “In today’s world, our final evolution is to improve the management of our data,” says Maria Hernandez, director of quality systems at Vista Color.

Vista Color anticipates that PECAS Vision will help it further improve customer service by enabling Vista Color to quickly access the very specific information required to address customer inquiries. Vista is pleased with the industry-specific workflow processes included in the solution; according to the company, these processes will help standardize practices. “We plan to modify our processes around the software, rather than modifying the software around our processes,” states Hernandez.

The company will implement the entire PECAS Vision ERP suite and plans to be live on the new solution before summer of this year.
