TLMI Label Awards: The Industry Shines
ASL Group–All Stick Label Ltd. takes Best of Show honors in the 2010 TLMI Label Awards competition with its Dan Aykroyd Sauvignon Blanc flexo-printed wine label.
Milford, N.H.-based Amherst Label, Inc. was another big winner. Its Med-Sked Tabs label followed up a first-place finish in the Flexography Line/Non-Prime category with its selection for the Innovator Award. Med-Sked Tabs uses a series of day/dose tabs to serve as a medical scheduling system. Removal of the appropriate tab serves as an indication that the proper medication has been taken at the appropriate time. The award-winning label system used a combination of materials from International Tape Products, 3 Sigma, Actega WIT, Harper, and Asahi. pP
