HP's Participation Confirms South China Label Show as Global Event
Sept. 5, 2012—The South China Label Show 2012, brought to you by Labelexpo, is taking place in the new, larger Pazhou Exhibition Centre in Guangzhou between Dec. 4-6 2012. More than double the size of the 2010’s inaugural show at 5,000 square meters, it boasts an equal mix of international western companies and strong local brands looking to serve the domestic market and export further into Asia.
The latest working machinery can be seen over the show’s three-day duration, which is complemented by a high end and selective conference program covering topics from the environment, best practice and globalization to digital advances, anti-counterfeiting and global trends. The 5,000 visitors can expect to hear from industry experts, brand owners and customers delivering real case studies from a full circle of international and Chinese presentations. Of the 150 exhibitors, companies include Avery Dennison, HP, Omet, UPM Raflatac, Zhe Jiang Wei Gang, Flint, Epson, Nuova Gidue, Shen Zhen Labellong and Zhongtian Machinery.
"The show in South China has arrived, underlying the region’s huge potential as 50-60 percent of China's total printing output comes from Hong Kong and Guangdong Province," says Roger Pellow, Labelexpo managing director. "We have moved to the larger Pazhou venue to reflect the importance and influence of the region, confirming our strategy of alternating with the South China Label Show in Guangzhou this year and Labelexpo Asia in Shanghai last year and in 2013."
Pellow also adds that China is the largest and fastest emerging market in the world and this event offers the opportunity for printers, converters and end users to see the latest available machinery, substrates, materials and ancillary products. As well as a strong sales opportunity, the show provides an effective platform for companies wishing to enter the region with many contacts and partnerships to be made at the show.
Originally started as a two-day conference in 2006, such has the pace of development been in Southern China that the show had developed into a full machinery exhibition by 2010. Aimed at printers, brand owners, end users designers and industry suppliers, this is the largest event for labels, package printing, product decoration and converting in the area. The Pearl River Delta ("the factory of the world") has been and continues to be a region of significant Government support and investment, promoting it as an international center of printing excellence. This has been further proven by the relocation of a significant number of international printing and converting operations moving to the area.
The show is free to attend and visitors can pre-register by visiting www.southchinalabelshow.com.
