The Boxmaker Becomes Founding Member of Digital Corrugated Networking Group
The BoxMaker, a Pacific Northwest leader in custom packaging solutions announced that it has joined Digital Pack, the world’s first brand-focused digital print networking group for corrugated packaging and display converters.
Established by HP, the association brings together select corrugated converters in North America and Western Europe that own and operate high-volume HP PageWide corrugated presses.
“Our participation in Digital Pack as a founding member aligns with our commitment to lead the future of digital,” says Richard Brown, President, The BoxMaker. “As a regional converter, we’re excited to collaborate with HP’s network of partners on national digital campaigns, along with developing initiatives that will help brands leverage the power of digital production.”
The BoxMaker’s involvement in Digital Pack comes on the heels of its purchase of the HP PageWide C500 digital press in late 2018. With this press The BoxMaker is able to digitally print corrugated orders of any size in offset quality, delivering sharp text and barcodes, smooth tone transitions and vivid colors, while expanding service for agriculture and specialty food and beverage brands thanks to HP’s food-safe water-based inks.
As an all-in-one packaging partner, The BoxMaker plans to continue investing in the latest digital print technologies that amplify their clients’ people, processes, and brand. The BoxMaker currently operates the Pacific Northwest’s highest-capacity Digital Production Center, featuring three corrugated presses, one narrow-web digital press for labels and folding cartons, as well as digital finishing with fully automated CAD cutting tables.
