Forum Spotlights Graphic and Structural Carton Design
SPRINGFIELD, MA—April 30, 2013—On June 4-5, 2013, the Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC) will host its annual Technical and Production Forum at The Marriott in Springfield, MA. At this special Design Summit, industry experts will lead discussions on how to effectively manage a creative team and how open innovation can grow a folding carton business.
For structural and graphic designers, tips and tricks for creating successful carton designs will be reviewed and carton design best practices shared. Industry leaders will describe how to design a package for ease of production and explain the importance of designing a carton from a customer’s perspective. Finally, the Design Summit will end with a plant tour of Atlas Die.
“This year’s Technical and Production Forum will provide attendees with a deep dive on design best practices,” said Ben Markens, PPC president. “With an inspiring lineup of structural design veterans, designers and operators will return home not only creatively inspired but also motivated to make significant pre-press improvements.”
PPC members are welcome to attend, as well as individuals from non-member converter companies and packaging design students (student discounts available). For information and pricing, visit paperbox.org/TP. To register, contact Michelle Perlman at (413) 686-9191 or michelle@paperbox.org.
