CardPak Receives ISO 9001:2008 Certification

SOLON, Ohio—CardPak® Inc., the Solon-based manufacturer of environmentally sustainable packaging products, has achieved certification to the new ISO 9001:2008 standards, based upon the results of a 30-month independent surveillance audit. ISO 9001:2008 certification is a globally implemented standard for providing assurance about the ability to satisfy quality requirements and to enhance customer satisfaction in supplier-customer relationships.

An independent ISO auditor noted significant improvement in CardPak's management system during the last 7 years. According to Mike Wrost, CardPak's quality assurance manager, the audit found no Non-Conformances (NCRs), Areas of Concerns (AOC) or Opportunities of Improvement (OFI). CardPak outscored its competitors in 35 out of the 36 areas surveyed.
