SGP Partnership Gains Two Jet Locations as Certified SGP Printers
LOVELAND, OH—The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership has certified two Jet locations—Bolingbrook and Downers Grove, IL—as SGP Printers.
Jet, a specialty printer for more than 63 years, was built on a foundation of commercial printing and now specializes in card-related programs using innovative and sustainable practices for a national client base. Jet also engages in brand enhancement with integrated marketing solutions including POP, plastic packaging, and targeted mail programs.
When asked about this accomplishment, president of Jet, Jeff Norby says, “We believe strongly in doing the right thing as a corporate citizen for our clients, our employees, and our environment. Our values and strategic plans include sustainability in everything we do, and this certification solidifies and recognizes our continued efforts toward this goal. I am proud of our team’s ability to bring the best in card solutions to the industry while being the first card manufacturer to receive this high honor for sustainability.”
To become a certified SGP Printer, a facility must demonstrate conformance with criteria that require a holistic approach to sustainability and must pass an onsite audit. Certified printers are assigned a certification number and logo for use on their printed products to indicate the product was “Printed by a SGP Printer.”
