Sttark, a label converter based in South Carolina, has expanded its production capabilities with the acquisition of a Grafotronic DCL (Digital Converting Line) system, along with auxiliary equipment from Grafotronic Inc. This investment underscores Sttark's commitment to customer-focused innovation and efficient, process-driven production.
The Grafotronic DCL is a digital converting line designed for high-speed, high-precision label production. It allows for extensive customization, making it a perfect match for Sttark's mission to continuously innovate and exceed customer expectations. The DCL system is designed to be fully upgradeable and customizable, allowing Sttark to maintain its lean manufacturing processes while optimizing productivity.
Tim McCurry, Director of Labels at Sttark, commented on the new partnership: "It was amazing to see and feel how open the Grafotronic team was to work with us on modifications. All other suppliers wouldn't let us do that. The teamwork and open approach from day one has been refreshing and intense, and we knew right away that Grafotronic was the right partner for us."
Sttark, known for its dedication to innovation, serves a diverse clientele, with 75% of its customers being small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). This latest investment is a continuation of their strategy to keep operations organized and lean while pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in label production.
Reflecting on the company’s growth, McCurry added, "This year has been a great year for us. The match between Sttark and Grafotronic is perfect—two innovative parties working together to deliver outstanding results. We’re excited to see what the future holds with the new DCL system in place."
