SpectraGraphics Opts for a Third Saturn with Futura Device with PRATI's FastCut Feature

SpectraGraphics is installing a third SATURN with FUTURA device featuring FastCut from PRATI.

Based in Lenexa, KS, USA, SpectraGraphics Inc. is a custom label & tag converter specializing in flexographic printing of prime films, foils and papers, as well as thermal and specialty materials.  Amongst the market sectors they supply are the food, beverage, household segments and coupon labels.

With two SATURN high-speed slitter inspection rewinders already installed and running in the company, SpectraGraphics opted for a third SATURN with FUTURA technology and featuring FastCut, the exclusive automated knife and counter-knife positioning device developed by PRATI.  By drastically reducing set-up times, the FastCut feature also improves slit quality with tighter tolerance levels, ensuring consistent quality thanks to the absence of variables and leads to longer knife-life.
