Leading laser converting manufacturer, Spartanics, continues to develop technology for the label converting industry. Recognizing the need for more efficient methods of label extraction within the growing label, sticker and decal industry, Spartanics has engineered and released the Roll-to-Part Laser Die Cutting Solution.
The Spartanics Roll-to-Part Laser Die Cutting System is best suited for label converters that have a need to extract through cut parts and labels; most useful for label converters handling sticker and decal orders. Equipped with Spartanics Smart Software Technology, the Roll-to-Part Laser Die Cutting System is able to handle multiple jobs in a single roll with no need for manual job changeovers; inherently, making the machine operator's job minimal. The Roll-to-Part Laser Die Cutting Machine can be easily converted from a roll-to-part system that efficiently extracts finished labels to a standard roll-to-roll finishing solution within minutes.
"Spartanics has been manufacturing part extraction devices for a variety of our converting machines for many years," Mike Bacon, Spartanics VP of sales and marketing, says. "We believe this new feature will open up opportunities for customers interested in automating their part removal process by incorporating the design into our standard roll-to-roll laser diecutting systems."
The Spartanics Roll-to-Part laser Die Cutting Solution is integrated with an extraction device that fully detaches labels and parts from the web and advances the finished products away from the extraction assembly on a conveyor belt. In addition to the powerful 400W laser, label converters are able to choose from a list of desired label converting options, such as a dual laser diecutting option, full and semi-rotary units, knife slitting components, lamination, UV coating and more.
