The topslit combines the slitting/rewinding philosophy of the Goebel rapid d series and a proven load cell technology to rewind large diameter rolls with optimal structure. A unique unsupported simplex center drive system allows for a wide range of winding conditions. The special slitting arrangement provides excellent narrow slits and roll separation at high speeds. The topslit can be supplied with a cantilevered rewind shaft and integrated finished roll unloading cart for shaftless operations, simple roll handling and faster set change. It also features a slicing table, various slitting systems, an AC drive and a digital control system with PLC. Available with rewind diameter to 50˝.
