SEI Laser to Introduce World's Fastest Laser Diecutter for Labels

Matik Inc., the exclusive North American distributor of SEI Laser, has announced SEI Laser will be unveiling the Labelmaster, its new laser system for processing roll materials in the packaging and labeling fields. The Labelmaster will be unveiled for the first time at Labelexpo Europe. With a maximum roll speed of 65 m./min. (213 ft./min.), the Labelmaster is the fastest digital laser converting machine on the market to date. It is the first and the only laser die-cutting system available with up to four independent laser heads, meeting the need for high-speed digital laser converting.

The Labelmaster is a modular solution with both digital and traditional finishing. There is the option to customize with a series of modular upgrades that can be retrofitted after purchase.

Work processes include laser cutting, laser kiss cutting, semi-rotary flexible die cutting, overlamination, missed labels detecting, laser coding, laser engraving, laser micro-piercing, sheeting, and slitting.
