Accord Carton Expands Manufacturing Capacity
Today the growing business is run by the Codo brothers.
Robert Codo, Accord Carton President said, “We looked at all of the major press manufacturers, but once again choose to do business with manroland sheetfed. Based on the print quality and positive experience that we have had with manroland sheetfed over the years, we choose another R900. We makeready and come up to salable sheets quickly, which allows us to be more profitable with less waste. The new press allows us to print a wide range of stock from .01 mm paper up to 1.2 mm board. With the completion of our G7 Master Print Certification, we have mastered the methodology for achieving predictable color consistency throughout the entire production chain. We have defined process controls for the neutrality and tonality of an image, whether on a proof or from a press of any kind and several substrates. Our team runs tighter than average process controls due to the specifications that must be followed. We have earned this status by using the most modern technology, techniques and process control standards required to produce high quality printing, so that our customers can ensure consistent brand imagery across all of their products.“
“Our pressman love running the manroland sheetfed R900. There are so many standard features that make the printing process easier, and more efficient, from the ColorPilot color control console to the ok balance software. With TelePresence we are able to have the press checked by manroland sheetfed remotely should we ever have a problem,“ stated Joe Finger, Accord’s Manufacturing Manager.
