Top Tag & Label Converters — Covering New Ground
This is where packaging converters come in. There are opportunities to be seized, and successful businesses are those that are up on current trends and can adjust their operations to get involved in these new ventures.
About 75 percent of converters that participated in packagePRINTING’s Top Tag and Label Converters, reported that their businesses experienced growth in 2006. And, of those converters, about 68 percent indicated plans to expand into new areas of package printing in 2007, consisting mostly of new end-use markets and new label printing processes. Several converters mentioned that they will get into digital printing within the next year, while others cited advanced security, RFID offerings, and fulfillment as other ventures for 2007.
