Rotomec To Show Gravure Printing and Laminating Solutions at drupa 2008
Rotomec will be at drupa 2008 with a display of its high-performance gravure printing and laminating equipment, both on the Bobst Group stand A04, hall 10, as well as in Bobst Group Deutschland’s Demonstration Center in nearby Meerbusch.
Rotomec’s gravure press models on display in Dusseldorf will include different solutions, each delivering specific customer benefits in the various market sectors of the flexible materials gravure printing industry: from the MW 60/80 press for very short runs and medium web printing, a real performer in waste reduction, through to the RS 4004 HS for high-volume runs with production speed of 600 m/min, the trolley automation and dedicated washing systems of the RS 4004 E, and the modular and easy-to-operate RS 4003 press. Rotomec’s new developments in the field of electronic shaft technology and register control integration will be of great interest to converters seeking “less waste, more productivity” gravure printing lines.
The CL 850 multi-technology laminator will illustrate Rotomec’s latest advances in converting technology. The CL 850 features a sensitive web handling control designed to produce superior quality structures with a wide combination of flexible materials, including very thin aluminium foil. Features include the new concept dryer with dual technology nozzles and a new register control development ensuring minimum levels of waste for cold seal coating and other in-register applications.
