Rotoflex Closes 2010 on Strong Note
ST. LOUIS, Mo.—Rotoflex celebrated a successful end to 2010, logging 16 inspection/rewind machine shipments in December alone. The U.S.-manufactured machines were destined for a variety of customers worldwide including North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa, and consisted of a range of models.
“Demand for our equipment continues to increase,” states Kevin Gourlay, worldwide sales manager for the brand. “With the broadest finishing product line available, we find Rotoflex machines are able to satisfy almost any application demand. We have been lucky to work with some really innovative customers who utilize our equipment to do things that amaze even us!”
Increased demand for the machines is directly related to recent improvements, specifically the implementation of the Genesis advanced control system. This system allows more effective management of speed, workflow, and roll quality. The 100 percent matrix and missing label detection; fast, accurate fault recognition and placement; and simple setup and operation are necessary for today’s converting demands. In addition to new models being outfitted with the Genesis system, the MAX aftermarket service and support team has been upgrading existing installations to the new control system.
Adds Gourlay, “We are looking to 2011 as another exciting year for Rotoflex, with key product line updates offering converters even more flexibility and capability.”
