Global Packaging

Global Packaging, with facilities in Oaks, Pa. and Ambler, Pa., is a full-service, wide-web flexographic printer providing consumer products packaging to companies across North America. Primary markets include branded and private-label packaging for personal hygiene, diaper products, frozen foods, pet foods, and towel and tissue. In March 2009, Global Packaging was certified as a Sustainable Green Printer—the first wide-web flexo printer in North America to achieve that designation.

Global's mission is to offer the finest in flexo printing, realized through teamwork and open communication at every level. Its current offerings include four presses printing complex graphics up to 10 colors, 16 bag –machines, solventless laminations, and slitting. In November 2009, the company ordered a new 59-inch flexo press and high-speed wicketer and pouch machine. The large-format wicketer and stand-up pouch machine will allow Global to diversify into additional markets.

Global estimates growth for the coming year in the range of five to seven percent. This continues a pattern of growth that has been in double-digits for eight of the last ten years.
