The Hickey family, proprietors of Smyth for more than 100 years, has thoughtfully and carefully considered this partnership with Novacap. John, Bill, and Dan Hickey, along with the entire Smyth management team, will retain a significant ownership stake in the company and continue in their current roles managing Smyth using their industry expertise, family-based values, ethics, and environmental stewardship.
