Flexo Unraveled – Presented by Tim Reece Director of Technical Services, APR

This program dives into the intricacies of the flexo process and how it compares to other print processes. Discussions will include a detailed review of flexo terminology, variables, challenges and benefits. We will explore recent improvements and flexo technologies that have advanced the quality of flexo print to rival that of gravure and offset. Finally, we will review the process control protocol in each phase of the production workflow (prepress into the press room) and the tools needed to ensure flexo quality success.
Process Color Printing & G7 - A Flexo Perspective - Presented by Catherine Haynes, Technology Solutions Group, APR

This program starts with a basic review of color concepts, terminology and measurements. We will then explore the ins and outs of process color printing, to include both four-color and seven-color process printing. Discussions will include the G7 methodology and how it can benefit your process and bring different print segments to a common color appearance. We will also address the importance of process control in all phases of the workflow.
