Ashland to Introduce High Performance Emulsion at Labelexpo

DUBLIN, Ohio—A new acrylic adhesive from Ashland Performance Materials, a commercial unit of Ashland Inc. will be introduced at Labelexpo Sept. 14 -16 in Chicago. Aroset™ 1177 adhesive is a high-performance emulsion for the coating and laminating industries.

“This latest product provides high adhesion to low energy surfaces while maintaining very high cohesive strength,” said Richard Gaughan, marketing manager, adhesives. “It gives our customers and potential future customers a sustainable approach to pressure sensitive adhesive label applications that also delivers excellent resistance to environmental influences, which can cause other adhesives to fail.”
