The CLS PRO 600
A combination of laser and LED technologies has produced this digital line and contrast guiding device that offers productivity improvements to the converter. The CLS PRO 600 can guide a web to a line or a contrast edge—either continuous or broken. It works well in difficult applications such as on reflective substrates, or on webs in which there is poor contrast or poor edge definition. Use of line and contrast guiding devices are common in flexible packaging, where the web is printed with a continuous line that is then used to guide the web during the slitting process.
